Sweet baby Greta. You may recognize her from the shoot I did of her and her big sis back in November....but this day was all about Greta. And well it should have been-because this little girlie was about to turn one! Her mama, the youngest of 3, was bound and determined to commemorate her second child's milestones just as she had her first (which I appreciate, being a 3rd child myself...); so we had a fun little photoshoot early one morning in late May. It had been raining all the week before, but held off long enough for us to play outside a bit....

this was SUCH a fun photoshoot for me. Little Milo is the youngest son of two friends of mine-high school sweethearts-that I've been friends with, well, for a long time...Chris since I was a junior in high school and he was a senior; Shannon since our freshman year of college. Our kiddos are all just months apart, so playdates are fun! Although my little girlie is outnumbered by all the crazy boys, it's just so fun to watch them all growing together...so when Shannon asked me to take some first-birthday pictures of little Milo, I jumped at the chance!

Christ & Shannon have this FANTASTIC red chair-a find from Goodwill, I believe-and I fell in love with it. So we threw it in the back of their car and went hunting for some trees!
